De noordermarkt It is perhaps the best-known organic market in Amsterdam and with good reason. The market has been around since the 17th century (when it was a marijuana market, we would still be happy with it), and in 17 it officially became the first organic farmers market in the Netherlands. It’s always nice in the Jordaan, but on Saturdays the square is filled with market stalls, which improves the atmosphere even more. On one side you can find food, on the other side you will find clothes, books and antiques. Are you done shopping? Time for coffee and apple pie (the tastiest in Amsterdam!) at Café Winkel.
