Every Sunday there is a large market on Boxhagener Platz, in the middle of the lively student district around Simon-Dach-Straße in Friedrichshain, where you can walk around and have a look. From books, to furniture and household items, to fashion clothing: you will find it all here. The stalls are distributed around the square. In addition, very close to the market there is a wide range of restaurants and food stalls. On the other hand, after shopping, you can relax on the grass in the center of the square. A visit to the market can be perfectly combined with a Sunday brunch in one of the nearby cafes to enjoy a good breakfast-lunch.
